Woodrow Luster, 84 of Richwood died Wed., June 28, 2000 at the Ohio State University Medical Center as the result of an accident three weeks ago.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of Community United Calvary Church.
he was born Sept. 5, 1915 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late George and Nan luster and predeased by two sons and several sisters. He married Lillie F. Hall April 4, 1933 and she died March 1, 1986.
He is survived by a son, Fred luster of Palm Springs, CA; four daughters, Ethel Hughes of Pikeville, KY, Helen Kent of Bucyrus, Billy Beatrice Harris of Stickney, Ill and Josephine Garrett of marion; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Luster of Pikeville and four sisters, Thelma Booth of Columbus, Mae of Arkansas, lizzie Carroll of Pkeville and Josephine of Pikeville.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officate and burial will be at old Mision Cemetery in Upper Sandusky. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM on friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community United Calvary church memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
