H. Edward Flach, 77. of Essex, died Friday morning December 9, 1994 at the Community Nursing Center in Marion.
He was born Jan. i 2, 1917. in Marion County to Werner and Ruth E. (Manley) Flach. He was married April 6. 1939, in Greenup. Ky., to Donna (Seiter) Flach. who survives.
Mr. Flach was a farmer, and graduated from Green Camp High School. He was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ near Green Camp, Carpenters Union 976 Marion, the former Green Camp and current Knights of Pythias Lodge in Essex,. Del Ray Camping Group and Alzheimer's Association at Marion General Hospital.
Mr. Flach also is survived by two sons, Jay E. Flach, Columbus, Ind., and Robert G. Flach, Marion; three-daughters, Susan K. Travis, Essex, DeAnna Beightler, Richwood, and Jan E. Wigal, Green Camp; a sister, Martha Mae Meddles, Haines City, Fla.; 24 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two' grandchildren.
Calling hours are 2-9 p.m..'today, at Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel United Church of Christ with Rev. David Lippert officiating. Burial is in Price Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the German Reformed Log Church Project at Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
Pall bearers will be grandsons: Michael, Shaun, Chris, Keith and Todd Flach; Rodney and Robert Travis; Erik Wigal, John Wheeler, Vincent Schroats and Paul Foster.
